Earn college credits for your USILD Continuing Education Workforce Training

Use the knowledge gained in these courses to earn college credits! This can be achieved through assessments or the knowledge gained by working in business, industry, and government agencies, which have been evaluated and recommended by USILD Subject Matter Faculty Experts. The programs covered are those that award State or Federal Certifications in various industries or fields. Examples include Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and Executive Administrator Certificate.All listed agreements are available for college credits and are free for USILD students. The agreements indicated with an asterisk (*) below are seamlessly integrated from Continuing Education Workforce into related Credit programs, allowing you to build upon your credentials.Do you hold one of the industry certifications or licenses listed below? Industry Certification, Licensure, and Apprenticeship

You may already have the knowledge required for college credit.

At USILD, we realize that many students arrive to us already having gained college level learning in a subject area and mastered the content of certain courses. USILD Credit by Industry Certification or Apprenticeship are articulated credit awarded for USILD accepted business, industry, and government agencies that have been evaluated and recommended for college credit.

Often these are State or federally registered programs awarding State or Federal Certification within an industry or field. Faculty Evaluators have reviewed these industry recognized certifications and licensure to identify recommended college credits.

 

Get started with Credit by Articulated Prior Learning:

  • Check if the credential you have is listed below in the approved lists

  • Consult with the Coordinator of Articulation, Transfer, and Prior Learning and Assessment.

  • Meet with the appropriate Subject Matter Faculty Expert (SMFE) to present the Certification, Licensures, or Apprenticeship paperwork.

  • Fill out the appropriate paperwork with the SMFE and take it to the Registration Office.
